Calling all LA dreamers & cowgirls! We’ve teamed up with the sweet slow fashion brand, Ornate Revival and present to you our first collaborative playlist ‘Mirror Eye’. If you love dream pop, shoegaze, rock, 80s jams and a spot of psychedelia then this ones for you.

Here in London, we’re back in Lockdown 2.0. But this time, it’s a lil different now the days are shorter and the nights are longer. So why not play some tunes to soothe those evening blues. Have a dance, even if you’re a party of one. Boost that seratonin baby. Ornate Revival are a fellow seventies obsessed brand I feel like you will all love. Grounded by the retro but seduced by the now, Ornate Revival just recently launched a new collection of groovy ethical tees and prints that will have you desert dreamin’ in no time. OR founder, Kirsty is not only a badass brand owner, she’s also a damn good graphic designer and marketing whiz. One all round creative cowgirl. Mirror Eye came about when Kirsty was working with me on MTL’s branding during the first lockdown and the world was at its weirdest. We decided to liven isolation up by curating a playlist together when we discovered we had similar taste in music. So every Friday we’d add our weekly favourites. Some weeks we had themes too to spice things up, ranging from the 70s & 80s, our favourite songs we’d seen live and tracks we’d want to feature in the imaginary soundtrack to our lives. And by the end of lockdown 1, we had curated seven hours of groovin’ and one cool collaboration.

Creating collaborative playlists is a sweet way to share your favourite music with pals while also discovering new tracks. If you’re like me and you often find yourself listening to the same ol’ sh*t over and over again, this is the best way to get yourself out of a music rut. Bring the disco home, we hope you enjoy!
